Default Part-qualified ACCA/BA Acct. for migration assessment

Hello,

I am going to apply through either CPA ICAA or NIA but I cant find any relevant info from their websites about part-qualified acca applicant (in stage 3). Besides, I am holding a bachelor degree in accounting in University of Portsmouth. Would that be recognised as comparable as an Australian bachelor degree?

Part-qualified ACCA is no use for migration purposes, sorry. However your degree should be recognised provided it covers the necessary subject areas - you may need to obtain syllabus information from your university as well as a transcript to prove this.

Be careful about your work experience - CPAA/ICAA/NIA won't look at this but DIMA will and if they think you are working more as a book-keeper rather than an accountant your application will be refused.

Immigration questions are best asked on the immigration forum.
