Default exam tips

Hi all

Got my law exam for acca on tuesday just wondering if any of you accountants out there had any tips for me.
I've got case names flying around my head and trying to tie them into my anwers for my revision questions.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't have to do the ACCA law exam coz my first degree is law, however for those ones I only ever learnt the first name in the case eg. Donoghue rather than Donoghue and Stevenson (excuse the spelling, it's been a while). Check how strict the ACCA, coz it helps if you don't have to remeber the whole thing. If you can't remember the case name at all, just write that "in one case, it was held blah, blah, blah" and you'll at least get marks for the facts. Good luck with it mate. From someone who had to do, I promise you, it may not seem like it now but you will finish these exams one day.

Rick,

In the law paper for ACCA or CA, there are a few prominent cases.Get them wired in (use some memory tips). There are others that are not very prominent - remember them if the names strike you. Then there is the third category that are least imp.If you can recall them while u answer them, well and good , otherwise write as 'in one case it was decided that etc.etc......

Exam success is on how smart u are at studying rather than how much u study.Concentrate on the core and build around them as u go along.
Best of luck.
