Hello, I'm a CIMA qualified accountant (10yrs post qual exp) recently arrived in Sydney.

Things seem very quiet at the moment with all agencies that I've visited, stating this. Anyone have any thoughts as to
how the market might turn for the remainder of the year?

They say accountancy is no longer sought after profession in Australia, though I could see hundreds of vacancies. Do companies really want to fill up that vacancies?
