Wink C.a or M.com subjects....

I applied to NIA for assessment of my B.Com degree but unfortunately they have positively assessed only 4. My university is fine with them however.

I want to know what my other options are.

1. I am presently doing CA. Do you think I can send NIA details of what I have already completed without actually finishing CA completely.

2. Does anyone have any idea if distance education through an Indian university for M.Com will be acceptable and if so if it must be completed in full.

All responses and ideas are welcome.

Please respond.

1. CA in what country? India?

2. Possibly, provided the distance education university is also accredited.

Whether MCom subjects will be accepted is a complex question. However, once you complete your Indian CA you will be eligible for a skill assessment on that basis. (you'd still need professional work experience to satisfy DIMA).

Long term, once in Australia, you would need to upgrade your qualifications to the Australian standard if you wanted a good career. Australian CA is generally the best option.
