Been in Canada a year after moving from UK
Hi everyone,
Just over a year ago my husband got a company transfer to Canada and I and our three small children (5, 2 and 3months), left the dream home we'd just finished renovating in the UK, to follow him out here.
We moved from just outside of London, UK to just outside of Toronto, Ontario CA. After the initial homesickness and culture-shock (oh yes, you still get it even though we didn't have to learn a whole new language!), with a little adjustment we are now enjoying our new life in Canada. In fact I have found a whole new aspect to my life. Since we moved I have started to write about our experiences as expats. If anyone has any questions they think I could answer... fire away! Or you could have a look at my blog, the URL address is on my profile on here.

I'm in Toronto at the moment...the weather for late September is fabulous. Just got back from walking the dogs by the lake...no jacket required.
We have many members living in the T.O. area...they usually hang out in the Canada Forums. Why don't you pop over there...take a look around and join in?
If you have any problems finding your way around the many BE forums AmyDavid is the concierge for the Canada forums...she will be act as your BE tour guides to help you find your way around.
For any other questions, problems or concerns please contact a moderator. The mods for the Canada forums are Iaink and Christmasoompa.
