Hey Folks,

Just to update you, my son's passport (along with all my documents) arrived yesterday (issue date July 4th....they obviously weren't celebrating ). I was totally shocked when the UPS folks turned up at the door! If I knew who to send a big ole bunch of flowers to, I totally would! *VERY* grateful that I won't be sitting around a week before my travel date wondering if we're going to make it!

Good luck to all those who're still waiting!

Another data point:

Routine Adult Renewal, sent to Washington DC on 16th August, received passport on 13th September.

Looks like things are speeding up - good luck to everyone!

That is such good news. I waited the entire summer because the of the backlog. Looks like I can now go ahead and submit the papers. Will probably do so in November. You post (rew1000) made my day
