Re: Florida, California or UK?!
Saw Big Country at the Coach House last year. Nice enough bar I thought. Wasn't divey enough to be classified a dive bar. Been thrown out of much worse.

Big Country are still going? Shame about Stuart Adamson. Saw Big Country and also The Skids at Glasgow Apollo in my punk days.

They were during the late 70's.
Just saw San Fermin, London Grammar. Coming up Ellie Goulding, Chvrches, Christina Perri and Birdy.
I see Queen are about to tour with Adam Lambert filling in for Freddy soon but I saw the real deal back in the 80's so I'll pass.

Going strong. Fronted by Mike Peters (of the Alarm) last year with a new album, who has since gone back to solo stuff. Concert was excellent, reports from the UK say their latest gigs are going over very well.
Peters is touring the US in April, playing in LA near the end of the month. Going to see him in Corona.
Thought the Coach House was a nice little venue, although wasn't sure about all the dining tables in front of the stage. Not quite the Barras.....

The Skids....man, I haven't heard them for ages....they had the honor of being the very first band that elicited a "turn that racket down" from my dad.......happy days

Or Working For The Yankee Dollar. On more than one of my playlists for some reason :-)
Stuart Adamson - fantastic musician. Sadly missed.
