Completing SA109 UK Tax Self Assesmemt
Hi All,
I moved to the USA from UK a few years back. I have had a house in UK which I only recently started to rent out.
I am completing return online using 123 efiler and have a question for form SA109.
As a USA Green Card holder residing in the US can I claim the UK the personal allowance in the UK against my rental income. Question on the form is Q15, see below extract:-
"If you are entitled to claim personal allowances as a non-resident because of the terms of a Double Taxation Agreement, put ‘X’ in the box"
My rental income is ~6k for the year with 4k in expenses etc.
