I didn't know that was a phrase, "do one".

Oh yes the phonetic alphabet...I've been using that a lot on customer service calls. Makes things much easier.

It's very common in Liverpool, I don't hear it much in the rest of the UK.

Er, no he's not. I am though, and I haven't heard that expression either, despite living in Liverpool for a year too.

You don't want a Barclaycard here anyway, they're not very good. Hopefully you have an AMEX card, where you CAN accomplish what you're describing.

They are a small market in the US in terms of own branded cards, most of the business is through partnerships. LL. Bean credit cards are actually Barclaycards.

I think the NFL team-branded credit cards are issued by Barclays. They certainly were a few years ago.

USAirways is Barclays (can't remember what is happening post merger, my American Airlines one is Citi).

As a southerner, the phrase 'Do one' has been used extensively since about 2009 in my old neck of the woods.

Irrelevant to the OP, but felt obliged to confirm it was a legitimate saying

Yes they are, in terms of Other card businesses Barclaycard in the US barcalycard is tiny in market share. In the UK though one of the bigger players.

I have never heard of anyone being turned down for a secured credit card. Who do you bank with?

I got a Discover card for asking - unsecured.

Americas First Credit Union here in Alabama, written response states that i have a credit rating of zero, pay in from UK $1400 a month regular. Own outright my Jeep and house is still in name of wife the USC, the land is in her fathers name so changing all that is complicated.
