B1/B2 visa getting married to GC holder/US citizen while visiting
I will appreciate if someone can response:
Can a person with a B1/B2 visa, who is temporarily in the US for 6 months, get married to a US Citizen or GC holder, and be allowed to stay in the US while his/her application is processed?
What happen if the visitor status expired- on the I-94? while the application is being processed? Would the person be in violation of his or her status ?

All I can tell you is that the USCIS look at these kinds of marriages
with deep suspicion. Tread carefully...

I presume it would require filing a I-130 and I-485 concurrently. But
these kinds of marriages are automatic red flags and the USCIS will
scrutinize it very carefully.

Why? Not like they don't get plenty of them everyday. All it does is add a few more red flags to be wary of. But if the milk's spilt, you have to work with what you've got.
OP will get an idea of the procedures @ http://uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/legpermres.htm
My advice: don't leave the country for any reason whatsoever and get a move on with the filing. Also, check for skeletons in your cupboard and get professional help if you find them

I'm a lawyer, but I'm not YOUR lawyer. Nonetheless, certain ethical rules apply to me, and various criminal conspiracy laws apply to everybody [including me]: hence, I decline to touch your question even with a "ten-foot pole."

In that case, they might have a rather bigger problem.
