Is it just me or are there more trailers than ever? They also show the whole story or lack of.
Living in America means accepting the extra frisson that comes from knowing the old codger behing you is probably packing a semi-automatic handgun.

I can think of exactly zero times where that's been an actual concern of mine. Even since Illinois granted concealed carry. Even if guns didn't exist, I'd still limit my interaction with the public. Eugh.

Never been to the pictures in over a decade.
People talking, calling, texting and in any case the DVD usually with additional scenes, comes out about two months later.
Then we watch on our large plasma, surround sound, martini's and nibblies on call.

Some years ago, I saw a film in Budapest, and there must have been an hour's worth of advertisements before it started. (Judging from the advertising, Hungarian moviegoers must buy a lot of booze and cigarettes.)

I don't know about the ready-to-drink cartons, but the Kia-Ora dilute-at-home "squash" concentrate was far preferable to most other orange "squash" drinks that were popular (presumably because they were cheap) when I was a child.

Does no one else find it strange that is claimed the victim was texting his 3 year old daughter? I know kids are using technology at a younger age and text speak doesnt need "lot ov grama or spelling skillz OMG r u 4 real?"
But a 3 year old texting? Are you kidding me?

I'd have stabbed him to death with the sharp end of a Cornetto.

Maybe I got a carton that had gone off or something. I can still recall the horror of it quite vividly.
