Pluralization Of Brand Names

Re: Pluralization Of Brand Names
Really? I don't here that in the US when talking with people. Everyone would say "I'm going to Safeway to buy some chicken", "The meat at Asda seemed bad" or "Tesco had the best selection of pasta".
Maybe I should look up possessive nouns some more, that is not something that I had considered.

I think this is correct: "Tesco's meat selection is better than Safeway's".
Personally, "I'm going to Tescos" sounds simply better (as in, rolls off the tongue, not saying grammatically correct) than "I'm going to Tesco". But "I'm going to Safeway" sounds better than "I'm going to Safeways".
But really ... does it matter ...
Edit To Add .... didn't realize this was already 7 pages long

Since you are being a pedant, one must point out that there are already eight whole pages, and this is the ninth.

For 13 years I have stuck with the default and only discovered a few days ago that there is a user option to set a number other than 15 posts/page.
