Many of the rules which give various member countries rights were created when the EU was known as the EEC.

As far as I'm concerned, the enquirer, or anyone else for that matter, has opportunities here in Spain. Many of us have come here, found new skills or adapted exisiting ones,developing a perfectly rewarding lifestyle/income/livelihood here in Spain. There is however, no substitute for making the move and having a go, maybe in future years you'll regret not trying.
Is guitarman still here , by the way ? or have we scared him off ?
