It was an implicit part of the Constitution. But like so many conventions (Speaker is always elected from the Opposition, Prime Ministers never campaign in by elections as it is an abuse of their position, Ministers MUST release information to the House first, Ministers caught lying must resign) this amoral unscrupulous bunch of Scottish carpet-baggers have ignored it.

ECB President infers in press interview that will be no cut in Jan
BOE 9 to 0 for a 1 % rate cut and said would have done more if not for fear of spooking FX market with to bigger a cut in one go.(TO LATE!) So good chance of another cut in Jan.
Let me ask everyone who thinks its gone to far
Are you buying STG now???
I know some were buying it at 1.2100 on here saying its gone to low!
These are extraordinary times ,so if you got Stg and u need Euro's you can try willing it to go up,but unless some positive support come in for Stg you could be surprised how far it could fall.

I could not agree more. The trend is your friend and until someone sees a reason to buck it, it will keep going.
Bear in mind that like every other Labour Government Gordon has run out of money. If Britain were a company, the markets would be calling in the receivers.
So to re iterate that point, if you were a sovereign wealth fund, would you buy UK assets or lend money to this bunch of shysters?

Just to put a smile on a few faces just put the price in euros you paid for your house here in Spain and see how much more you would have to pay to be where you are now.I think you will smile when you see how the price has jumped. I know you have to sell to realise the cash and the house may have been over valued, But a positive never the less.

No effort really - it comes naturally.
I'm glad to see your spell check is working OK.

Fred, you've probably noticed that rugbymatt has to have the last word even if it proves him to be the total tosspot that he really is!
