Default Carrefour home delivery

Hi
We recently tried to get home delivery from Carrefour, but the site kept crashing when we put in our email address.

We visited Carrefour and asked the customer services lady.

It seems that you need a .es email address to access the delivery service.

Firstly has anyone else found this?

Secondly can anyone recommend a .es free email service or tell me what email they use to get a Carrefour home delivery.

best regards
Al

Sorry can't help directly but I would say the Carrefour website has never impressed me and I feel their IT efforts lag behind state of the art - hope you crack it.

Hi again,
Yes you are correct, we find Carrefour disappointing in their IT, it seems odd that such a big company, obviously sales driven are not capable of handling overseas email addresses 😩

regards

It is actually nonsense now I think about it because I have received emails from them (I have their card) to my Gmail address - and never heard of a system that is email-specific.

I have received home delivery from Carrefour with a gmail.com address.
The Carrefour App was terrible but seems to be very reliable now and their Club Carrefour card has great offers.

I was just about to suggest that the issue might be an email address that is so obviously not in a delivery area.
So .es is ideal but maybe other ambiguous ones (like gmail or outlook) will work but maybe .uk or .ca for example won't work.

Hi thanks for that, I visited Carrefour and asked their customer services and they said exactly as you saying. So I opened a gmail account and we are closer to achieving our goal, as the gmail account allowed me to get through to opening an account, I have yet to order but it’s on the cards!

regards
