Hey, thanks for reading... I run my own Property Maintenance set up back here in the UK and also did the same work in Oz for 4 years ..Hotels,Resorts and Real Estate maintenance(Carpentry,Plastering,Painting,Tiling etc) ... wouldnt mind giving Singapore a try ... any pointers would be great.

You would be competition amongst all the cheap labour imported from Bangladesh, India, Mainland China etc. The property management company which deals with repairs on our 1 year old condo has brought in people from Bangladesh......working long hours for little pay.

No such thing as craftmanship from what I can see in Singapore.... conco buildings erected cheaply and quickly with shoddy workmanship, then demolished 15-20 years later for a new development....

Thanks for the reply.. sounds a little like Dubai/Abu Dhabi ??? couldn't believe that place ... I was gonna try and get in the 'snagging' side of works.. damage/refurb etc ...

Can't see how you'd get a visa, Simon - unless you had a lot of money to invest, set up your own company, and employed lots of people.

Not having a dig at you specifically but people seem to think Singapore is an easy place to get into. It's not.
