I was a CORGI installer before i came over, showed that i was qualified to gain access to BCIT. Spent 2 nights a week for 3 months in order to get a BC Gas ticket.
My old employer paid around $1000 but you have to get your own books,($500 - $900) they sell them at the college.
I met one guy from Brighton that told me that he got his ticket doing a long distance course?

. Out of interest did you find Canadian plumbing any different from the UK? Was it easy enough to adapt to?
