Hi All,
We received our PPR letter in the post this morning so it looks like things are moving in London.
We hope everyone else waiting for a response gets some progress soon too.

Hi Mac2
Any news on your side? Any progress?
You are getting close to the ''one year in process'' mark, so maybe the medical requests will follow soon.
No news this side...
Regards.

Nothing I am afraid. But as you have seen london CIC are now saying 80% of cases are completed in an average of 27 months. Not sure I believe how these figures are presented as that would mean the visa's being issued in the last couple of months are for applicants with AOR's from April, May June 2009 applicants on our stream. A quick look at Trackitt, Canadavisa.com, BE etc... shows applicants with AOR's from Feb, March, April and even May 2010 are now receiving their visa's. Sandsfamily AOR May 8th 2010 just got theirs! So I do not understand how CIO are working out their average processing times! Perhaps someone else can enlighten me before we decide to pull out of this stupid process!

Thanks to everyone for the congrats and kind thoughts. We went to London for the day on Thursday and took our passports to the CHC office where they took them and gave us a raffle ticket attached to a receipt form. We will hopefully collect them in 2 weeks time, if the photos are ok. Now all we need to do is sell the house in the current market. Hmmm that could be interesting methinks
and arrange removals
Hang on in there Mac, the process is confusing, there doesn't seem to be a clear queue and it does wear you down (it was almost 18 months after AOR before we received the medical request) I understand that you feel like giving up but keep going and I'm sure it will work out for you.
