Any Idea how long they take for clearing medical in these days. My wife was out of Australia for more than 3 months, so CO asked for her medicals.

She did it on 23 August, no update since then!

Well, so far as I know, it really doesn't matter if your status changes or not. CO won't just contact you to give you an update. Btw, when did you apply for 887? Please share your timeline if you can. Cheers!

Yes dance123 is correct for my 475 visa I applied via Online , granted on 2009 and still status shows medical and X ray required

Hi dance123 any update with your application. I applied 24/08 got co but he requested everything that i attached with my online app. form 80, police check, pay slips, passport etc etc was requested. I attached 34 pay slips, form 80, passport, npc and all other evidence that was needed. he also requested medical and form 1221. I am confused now, any advice?

Congratulations for your CO. I'm happy for you. Well, what I suggest is: attach everything he's asked off you and wait for the grant.

I don't understand how DIAC works..... I applied before you and haven't got "Application processed further" status yet let alone CO asking for anything. Fingers crossed that I get someone any day but I'm very disappointed now where is my CO????

Did you travel overseas in past 2 years ? If yes that must be tha case of asking Medical but give what ever he is asking

My oh my, I have gone nuts these days. I received "Application being processed further" status yesterday but when I checked it wasn't there in the morning; which means ................ I've got a COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ..................

I just could sense my grant anytime in this email coz I front loaded my application and never been out of Australia ever since I've come here .......... WISH ME luck GUYS !

one of my friend is holding a 475 visa currently. he has fulfilled all the requirements to apply PR. He just wants to know whether he needs to pay application fee again when apply the PR?.
need your help please..

He would need to pay visa fee for any subclass but for 887 PR, he'd need to pay $270. Hope it helps!

Thanks a lot dance123 for your reply. he has married, if so both of them have to pay $270*2= $540. am i correct?

So far as I know, the spouse will be added to the application as a dependant. I don't think that he needs to pay $540 but I stand to be corrected here.
