Canadian passport - multiple entries into UK
#1
My fiancée's parents are coming to stay at the end of this month. They are both Canadian passport holders and will stay with us for 6 weeks. In week 3, we are all going to Majorca on holiday for a week.
Question - do you think they would need a visa as they are entring the UK twice (i.e. on landing from Canada and again returning from Majorca) within the 6-week total stay? I don't think it's a problem, but wanted to throw it out there, I'm sure people have encountered this.

My Canadian fiance visited me in the UK back in May. We went on holiday to Cyprus and then returned to the UK all in the space of 2 weeks. He was asked a few extra questions at the border than usual but otherwise everything was fine! I can't imagine your fiance's parents would have any problems

Thanks Pixies. I'm gathering they had no issues getting into Cyprus on a Canadian passport either...I did a bit of research about entering Spanish territory and didn't pick up on anything either.

No problems. It took an extra couple of minutes to scan his passport and stamp it. The border bloke just waved those with British passports through and looked surprised when he saw a Canadian passport. Nothing to worry about!

We'll be visiting the UK in September. Both my wife and I will be using our UK passports but our 15 week old daughter will be using her Canadian passport.
Question is: Will we be able to take her through the British national passport queue at Gatwick or do we have to troop through the 'all others' queue?
Ta mucho.
