Can I ask if you did anything in particular to get your interview appointment so quickly after the medical? I had my medical before you and haven't heard anything (when we called on Thursday, we were told they hadn't received my DS2001 yet, which I KNOW was delivered on the 25th of July....)
Did you ask to have your case expedited or anything?? I just don't understand how they work...
Happy for you, though, you must be excited

Hi
Quick update. Exactly 2 weeks after sending in my Notice of Readiness form I have received my interview date - which is September 6th at 9AM, exactly 1 month away, so there's a nice symmetry about this

Hi, we got our case number and are calling on Monday morning to book the medical.
Im just unsure of what forms to send in immediately.
What forms do you send in as soon as you get your case number? We have forms 230 I and II (without signing part II) ready to go. When do we send in the 2001, after the medical is booked or after you actually take the medical?
What should we be sending in on Monday, just the 230?
Thanks

Somebody actually sent all of them in before they had their medical...I guess that'll do, assuming you'll pass the medical. That would be the only problem you could encounter by sending them in straight away, I suppose...
I wish I had done that!!

All I did was send in the DS forms as soon as I got my case number, bit of good luck i guess, Im glad as it took them a long time to approve my i130 as it was sent to Italy

We did use a lawyer but from what I can tell they were there more to see what was going on with the process than actually affect the process.
Can't believe we didn't know when we were going as of Friday morning and now we are all moved out of our flat, out of London ( with the in laws now ) and we fly on Monday!!
Wow.

I had my medical on July 13th but didnt send off the next forms until a week or so later - I wanted to receive my joint sponsors I-864 before sending anything further.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this and just wanted to see how everyone is getting on with there application! I'm married to a dual citizen US/UK and he left in April from the UK to join the US Airforce. After all that training he is finally at his first base and we are sending the application form out next week to get my visa going! It's so exciting!! He's getting help from the legal office out there (one of many perks) so hopefully with the correct guidance, this should all be done correctly and smoothly.
How is everyone else's wait going?
