Well, 8 Months from AOR to in process, now another 8 months has passed, we still show as in process with the detail page saying pending. Getting fed up now with the interminable wait and London not seeming to wake up after their summer break. Anyone got any idea if they'll start again this year? Seems like most of the March/April 2010's had meds a few months ago.

I keep looking to see if anyone has any progress. Just seems like nothings happening again! Just more waiting.

Hi Mac2 and everyone,
Today, it is officially 8 months of being ''in process'' for us too and...no news, no medical requests, no reply to our emails and frankly, no CLUE as to whether any progress has been made with our case at all!
Best wishes for you all!

Hi Cherry Jam
I can't believe how long it took for you to go "in process" and that you haven't even received your medical requests yet! Our AOR dates are similar and I thought I'd waited a long time so I really feel for you. It just shows there really is no logic on how they process people, certainly not in date order. Hang on in there and I'll be keeping fingers crossed you get your med requests soon.
Good luck to everyone else waiting too.

Well we gave up and sent them a case specific email as its been nearly 19 months since AOR and 22 since we applied. Got the same old shite automated response!
Dear Madam,
This is in response to your enquiry.
Your documents have been received and placed on file. No further action is required by you at this time.
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.
During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.
This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Mac2,
Oh no! What a let down! And here I was hoping that your post today would announce that you have just received your medical requests...
I am sure you are furious and extremely disappointed...I am too!
Thanks for the feedback. All we can do is hang in there...
Kind regards.

There's always Saturdays post, See we are trying to remain optimistic!, although I think in reality it will be 2012 before they bother to actually pick our file out and start processing. We are both going slightly mad here, but at least the Children are unaware.

To be honest me and my partner have decided we are just going to go in April next year on tourist visas, and travel for a while we are so fed up with the wait aswell, we have saved up money so we may just do that and come back to the uk before the 6 months is up , maybe we would of heard something by then. Our idea was to travel from the east to west coast in spring with a pr visa or not ?
