Cheap flat vacant land with a rail link to the city? Was never gonna stay safe was it

There is supposed to be an 80 million retail and entertainments centre going in on the PH somewhere in Pakky. Officer primary is being extended, however I think that Pakky high is the only secondary opion as yet? There is intensive lobbying for a special needs school for officer as there is no such facility in the S/E and is long over due.

Standard block size has come down to 350m2. What these builders are selling us is 400 sq m land (with house ofcourse) for starting 400k in farthest suburbs. Buyers are downplaying the significance of land.

I've been monitoring a lot of 'house and land' package which are coming around Melbourne. I'm astonished to see how all builders have trimmed the backyards as if modern Australians don't want big backyards anymore.

Its ridiculos as the land is the thing of value, not the crappy off the plan, if you want anywhere near the display its another 80K, Metricon thats going up on it (sorry to anyone with a Metricon, its the only builders name that sprung to mind!) The land is shrinking and the "value" doubling, its crazy!
