Broadband
#46

The worst aspect of the whole thing is that no one can/will tell us how long we'll have to wait. The thing is there are no spare broadband ports available in the exchange we're on here. That means we just have to wait until either enough people move away and give up their connections, or Corus get out here to upgrade the exchange with more capacity.
I mean seriously how much would it cost to put in a few more ports? I will keep my fingers crossed for you that all of a sudden there is a mass exodus out of Franklin
There is the same problem still here in the UK though, saw an article on the BBC the other day that the government is delaying rolling it out so nowhere is perfect is it! 160,000 homes here still on dial-up. Which is a bit of a disgrace for the UK tbh.

(By the way I failed physics at school so please don't laugh at my question about installation all you tecchy types out there

Not only do we not have broadband but the mobile coverage here is not good either..
However Telecom's XT is very good. Thought we'd just change the sim card but his phone is not compatible so now he has bought a brand new iPhone...so mobile broadband is definitely an option now...
