I don't think I was taught that either - or that was one of the days when I signed the register n went to the pub. 
Get yourself an intelligent and keen looking student nurse. And copy the writing on her tongue depressor. LOL I'm serious they all have it.
Take it with you and when your stuck pretend that your filing your nails with it.

Your computer will ring like a telephone!!!!
Im gonna ask a student nurse to do me a drip stick! Swear I had loads when I was a student but once qualified and working in theatres there was no need as we use pumps all the time and just program it. If I can remember rightly, it was x 15 for fluids and x 20 for blood. Or maybe other way around? O God, I will have to look that up too.
BTW, iv got a skype interview with a hospital in Victoria (Mornington Peninsula) tomorrow night. Have never used skype before and for some reason I keep thinking my computer is gonna ring, haha, imagine that lol

Yeah it will ring just like a telephone I speak to my sister via skype all the time. You need to be online and you'll hear it start to ring you just click on accept when it rings and your connected just like a telephone, are you doing webcam as well?? They might even if you don't and you will see their faces which i think is better as you can't judge peoples reaction to your answers via the phone, way better to see their facial reaction.

You can connect or disconnect your webcam as you please, maybe be better to make sure you do a practice with someone before it just incase you appear on their webcam then disappear....although putting it down to a technical hitch would be plausable But yes it will ring and you just accept the call

Ok so it will ring and I just accept the call? I do have a webcam built into my comp but being honest, I dont want them to see me so is there any way I can get around this? Iv never used the webcam anyway so really dont know wot to expect - all the same, I just dont want to use it
