Hey guys
I have a partnership work permit do i have to let immigration know i have new employment??My permit runs out the end of jan and still waiting on my p/r?or shall just re apply for a new permit before i start my new job?
Any advice is good!!!

Hi
If you have a partnership visa you should be able to switch jobs without needing to tell immigration. It's your partner that is sponsoring you and not your employer

Ah thats great cheers sarah,just been told i have been referred to the m/a so god knows how long now!

oh, that sucks. We've just applied for the partnership visa and the medical has also been referred to the MA. We've been told the average waiting time is 5 weeks. Here's hoping for a postiive outcome

Yeah its not good ,my permit runs out end of jan just dont want the hassle of getting another one,the c/o told me its a 6wk process but not sure when they sent it as they have had the new test about 5 wks so hopefully not that long but who knows anymore!

yeah my cholesterol was 6.2 so thats why its been sent its pretty common so i have been told on here,how long has yours been in?your doing yours from the uk or nz?

It was sent to the MA almost 3 weeks ago. We are living in NZ. Liver function came back a little high (but not high enough to concern the doc). I think 9 out of 10 applications get deferred to the MA. I hate waiting.

yeah the doc said the same to me,my application went in in april so its been long wait!!

no my residency application has been in since april they wanted more evidence and 1 blood test before they could continue after 6mnths!
