Perth is pretty shocking. My wife met some friends for coffee a few months ago and was heading back at around 7:15pm. Got to the local bus station (which isn't a pleasant place) and found that after 7pm buses are on the hour.
Now this is the centre of Perth. A capital city.
She didn't feel safe waiting there as there were a few dubious types hanging around, so I went and picked her up.
With regards to cabs, a while back we had a friend visit us and we rang at around 10pm to book a cab to get her home. The cab operator informed us they couldn't guarantee a cab, but if there was one in the area and they felt like taking the fare they would. I asked if they could call when the cab was outside and they said 'no', I asked if the cab could use the carhorn to let us know they were there and was told 'no'.
This resulted in us standing around outside on and off for around 4 hours. One eventually arrived at 2:30am.

I don't like the searching of my bags on the way out of certain stores, do they honestly think knowing there will be somebody waiting to check their bags that a shoplifter would put a stolen item in their bag for all to find!!!
Do they honestly in their tiny minds think that a harrassed mother of two small boys while waiting 20 mins at the till to pay for her shopping is not going to mind when the assistant asks to look at the one other bag in the trolley!!
I mean are shoplifters out here so thick that they always put stolen items in nice secure bags!! Or pay $350 on food shopping but leave a stolen item in a bag in the trolley for the assistant to find.
That's my rant over with and yes I do take it very personally when you ask to search my bag (if you hadn't guessed)
Also what happened to toilets in supermarkets, is it so complicated to put a toilet inside the supermarket ( I miss you tescos ) or is it done to again stress out us mothers who have small toddlers that like to wait until half the trolley is full to then ask us to go to the bathroom, even though they went before we left home!! IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR ONE BATHROOM! WE ARE NOT SHOPPING IN A SMALL RUSSIAN HAMLET, although sometimes it feels like it.

Here's my short list of complaints.
That will do for now.
- Lack of choice in the supermarkets.
- Online shopping hardly exists.
- Price of stuff like books, cars, computer games, clothes, supermarket shopping etc.
- People cant drive.
- Speeding fines for going 5km over the limit.
- What they call football.
- Shopping centers.
- Prescription Charges & having to pay to see your doctor.
- Cost of flights out of the country.
- Adelaide.
- Rare for bands to tour here & when they do play 1 night & tickets cost hunderds.
- The TV is just plain shite.
- The radio is crap.
- Infomercials or whatever there called.
- Internet is expensive & slow unless your lucky to live with ADSL2+.
- Hoons.
- Public holidays should only be on a Monday or Friday
That will do for now.

I miss a proper pub, just around the corner.
I don't rate the driving as badly as others but when it is wet, just stay at home.........

Slip the stolen item in with the secured goods. Those of us with children do it all the time - I've often got home and discovered extras in bags. My good looks and charm allow me to pass through bag checks with all sorts of tat. Just kidding.
It's all that rear-wheel drive ...

Then i hate oz.
they must have really hated you
