Hi are there any former UK officers who have recently been accepted into TPS and what were their experiences? I have my final interview with Toronto coming up next month, if successful to start at CO Bick College in March/April.
I can't wait to leave UK for good, it's so miserable, though the Tasers are a good idea.

TPS (who I work for) currently are in a big recruitment drive. That said, one must keep in mind they tend to be looking for visible minorities these days. Rather PC.
Halton Regional are also holding recruitment seminars. (About 45mins west of Toronto). Encompasses several towns & cities. Very large mixed area, rural & city/towns.
York Regional Police (North of Toronto) is also hiring. As is Durham Regional (East of Toronto).

yes but as this site seems to be mainly visited by UK police officers mwishing to emigrate, bear in mind that TPS and other Canadian forces, with exception of Edmonton and Calgary, will NOT consider applicants who are not either Canadian Citizens or who hold PR status. They will not assist with the process and will not allow anyone to take the testing without this first.
