It's a heavily edited photo. Also, the British forces don't operate the helicopter in pic (Seahawk/Blackhawk variant) so even the caption is wrong.

Not saying that at all. You can have both, just need to be aware that there are stingers in the water at times. Mostly there is not a problem, but you have to listen to the locals and check the water, especially when the breeze is blowing towards the shore.

Actually it is closer to Bundaberg that it is to Gladstone.

It's approx 120k almost due east of Gladstone.
It's approx 100k almost due north of Bundaberg.

I'm guessing the OP was referring to the sort of stingers that can kill you If he was than you'd be safe from them in Melbourne.
