That's actually fairly believable given we have people in the UK who don't speak English very well and who are basically kept at home and are only seen outside covered from head to toe in black curtains...I can't imagine people like that speak to too many blonde people.

Actually I don't speak to too many blonde people every since Samantha Lines broke my heart and moved to a different school in 1988

I see one half Emirati half English (well Geordie actually) chap most Saturday afternoons along with some other folks for our weekly geek session of cruddy movies, RPGs and general junk food consumption.

That said he hardly speaks Arabic and has a good overseas education so he's not a typical Emirati.

Can I use the bloke in the Brauhaus I got drunk with last Thursday as a better exmaple?

Whatever...

I agree with the statement that if there are no Emaratis at your office and non in your social circle then it would be a little hard to meet them. No harm in that. And I don't think I've ever had the thought I must get to know a certain nationality rather than the individual...

Anyway - yes I have met quite a few Emaratis, here and at various locations around the world. Next door neighbours are Emarati as are many others in my building.

It's no big deal though surely?
