Interesting about excluding the NZ data. I'm not an economist, but I can see how RR's work has influenced austerity programmes. I'm not a supporter of "austerity" at all, and never have been, so this is interesting. Are you an economist, then? What are your views?

Interesting article (even if the thread has drifted a little).

I've managed to get the weekly shop for a family of 5 down to £60 on a good day and £90 on a bad, and I shake my head at how expensive it is.

Compared to some of the western families I'm a bit of a scrooge it seems.
