The Weekly Food Shop Around the Globe

Since you're both here and are both highly opinionated on matters concerning global economics, I'd like to ask if either you have read this?
Oh, hang on I'll have to find the link again (I downloaded the file). Two minutes....
.... or a bit more.

You have to download the pdf if you want to. I thought it was funny.

I've posted that link before because it's fascinating and the author is a friend of mine.

It goes to show as usual that greed over rules common sense

Any eejit knows that if you convolute a gaussian with another one, the result is yet another gaussian with a narrower full-width-half-maximum than the starting ones.
Any eejit except David Li and the Masters of the Universe, that is.

Interesting article (even if the thread has drifted a little).
I've managed to get the weekly shop for a family of 5 down to £60 on a good day and £90 on a bad, and I shake my head at how expensive it is.
Compared to some of the western families I'm a bit of a scrooge it seems.
