Hi
So we are here! Flights went well, apart from LHR to Hong Kong which should have taken 12 hours and took 16 hours because Chinese airspace was shut! Not fun with 2 toddlers but we survived. First day today and I have applied for an IRD number with surprising ease. Everyone has been very helpful. Now we just need to find somewhere to live and settle the girls at nursery before I start work on the 15th. Does anyone have a list of things to do when you arrive?
Happy to be here!

Arrived last week. Flight from LHR to CHC was a doddle with our ten month old but has taken a few days for him to settle since then. House is ready to move into this weekend, looking forward to that. Hubby is finding the job market frustrating, seems much more difficult just to apply for things than the UK.
