Your statements don't have to be on any particular form. Stat Decs from friends and family need to be on Stat Dec form 888 ( from the DIAC site) if they are Aussie PR or citizens. otherwise theirs don't have to be on any particular form either.

I thought I was almost done here, it seems I'm not, how detailed do the stat dec's from family and friend have to be on the 888 forms, is saying that they know us both as being in a continuing relationship enough.
Thanks again, Daz.

Back in the dim and distant days when I got mine, yep, 40 minutes, over the counter service at Aus House in London.

Have a look at the form, here - http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/888.pdf - it'll give you an idea what is needed

Hi everyone,
I've seen the form 80 mentioned, do I need to fill this form in for a de facto application, submitted in Australia, and if so does it have to go in with the application or can it be sent in at a later date.
Also I'm going to hand my application in on Thursday and have made an appointment is it normal to have an interview at the same time I submit my application.
Thanks Daz.

)Form 80 doesn't get requested as often now for partner Visas as it used to be. They may ask for it, but unlikely, and to be honest I would wait until asked before filling it in - many people are not asked for it at all, especially when onshore.

Interviews are pretty rare, if they do take place they are usually pretty light hearted and they just want to know that you are in a genuine relationship - they may ask things like where did you meet, how long have you been together etc If offshore they might ask how are you feeling about being apart, how are you looking forward to being in Aus with your partner- nothing to stress about, honestly (been there and done it

Form 80-is now 4 times longer than when I did it, in those days you had to do it at every stage Pros Marriage, Temp Spouse AND PR, now its like War & Peace, but they seem to ask for it much less often
