As you know you can not sponsor a new wife within 5 years of sponsoring the last. Unless you meet one of the exceptions their is no way to bring a new wife to Australia for 5 years.

If he is living the USA and still getting DLA he's committing benefit fraud and personally I wouldn't dare make an application for a visa in those circumstances.

As a citizen you are not able to be granted a visa so you really dont have the option of a cheaper visa for your wife.

A spouse visa is costly compared to the 457 but the benefits far outweigh...
