Certainly in Sydney & Melbourne, but maybe not in Perth by the sound of things.

Actually I do.

I've worked in IT for 24 years, starting as a programmer, and am currently working in a senior technical role in an investment bank (also a "good job").

Similar in Sydney, seems to be quite a bit of IT work here, certainly a lot more than the UK, proportionatley.

That was my plan too, didn't happen and in some ways I wish it had, instead I'm back to being a wage slave. Good luck though mate :thumbup:

I was lucky to get a job before I landed, but as it is with a multinational financial firm I had to do 4 ineterviews (two by videolink, 2 by phone) and 2 lots of exams then a big background check, in...
