Anyone remeber the Ambassador on a Sunday evening in the mid 70s when you had to have a token meal to get drinks! it was usually some horrible sausage with a bit of mash on a plastic plate....cheap...

Yes "the tavern inn" toilets to the right at the top of the stairs and rows of benches to the left, Sunnyside hotel YES. that was a favourite, do you remember when they had a few geordie nights at...

I was there in 1974 till 1979ish and it was a fantastic place of wild parties and great friends...those were the days.:thumbsup:

Does anyone remember the deli under highpoint in Hillbrow were they sold spit roasted chickens that were served in a foil bag? and the pub near bye were you had to had to go up some stairs and they...
