Don't forget his mother can also sponsor him as a LPR, she doesn't need to be a citizen. Although the processing time won't be hugely different either way. :)

:confused: Everybody has given you their best guess. Nobody (even an immi attorney) can do otherwise, unless they have a crystal ball. There is no way of knowing exactly how long the wait will be...

Hi, welcome to BE.

My guess is about 10 years for both processes (assuming you'll be over 21 when your Mum applies?), and for your Mum to move over in-between. But you can look at the visa...
