The rules can be updated at any point, though July 1st is the beginning of the visa year. They may even be the same as last year but my point in posting the link is that those are the up-to-date...

The 2015-16 rules are on the new website http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visi
No one is going to be able to give you more up to date info than that :)
