not getting a dig at the uk fraser. just stating the cold hard fact that uk houses are not well built. the fact that aussie houses are worse is a shame.
again as i live in a uk house i feel better...

no not seriously mistaken. i live in a two year old uk house and speak from experience. and every structure is built "within tolerance" anywhere. not saying the houses in oz aren't as bad or even...

maybe in victorian uk mate, but the houses built now are built to maximise profit - crap materials where it can be hidden with a few glossy touches to impress

yes, but if you work a 70 hour week , like the chap in question, this average would get close to $80000 with o/t rates. so above average pay could reach the £40k stated. i personally wouldn't want to...

can't comment on the work situation in bris for carpet fitters but regarding the wages, i can't understand why everyone is so shocked at what the poor guy earns. he works his ass off, thats why! 13...
