My Audi had the NOX "tune up" just before I got it (Q5 diesel) - it makes it pretty gutless. Going to get it (and the DSG box) remapped in a couple of weeks' time to see if that helps.

All over CA - lived in NorCal for >10 years, currently spending a couple of months in OC.

I see cars crossing solid lines every single day, mostly from the passenger seat :lol:

Oh most certainly Californian driving wrt pedestrians is miles more civilised than the UK, but when it comes to crossing solid white lines, solid yellow lines, solid double yellow lines, crossing...

The early VW/Audi "DSG" boxes seemed to have a lot of issues. My 2011 7sp Audi DSG is a a danger at roundabouts sometimes with it's dwell or "hesitancy" issues (only 65K miles on the clock).

The one I purchased 6 weeks ago is unsealed and you can pop-off the two covers to look at the cells. The one it replaced was unsealed. The one on my other vehicle is unsealed.

I'd guess he was late 30's. Seemed to indicate that some batteries get delivered dry and they add water.
