We had brushed nylon sheets in the early 70’s...lime green and bright pink. :eek:

Yup...the eiderdown always went on top.

We also had the candy striped flanelette sheets in winter.

I believe using the word ‘Continental’ as in Continental Quilt...covers all things French. :D

I remember that. If I recall correctly the first time I had a ‘Continental Quilt’ was in the mid 70’s.

I keep the sliding door in the bedroom open at night during the cooler months. 37F in our bedroom last night. :lol:

When we moved in 1996 I had a heck of a job finding duvets. IKEA was the only store and their covers were made of very thick hard cotton...yuck. Glad to say both duvets and covers have greatly...

Yes you can buy duvets and covers...Target, IKEA, department stores. No tog rating though. You can buy down, feather and down, feather or man made fiber duvets.
