Yeah there's definately a train to newcastle, (hopefully stopping in durham). Maybe the way to go as it will be less hassle than driving after a long flight on what could be icy roads in mid...

Anyone got any advice on which may be the best / most comfortable / cheapest way to get from manchester airport to the north east after a flight from Oz.
