But all the lions here have there teeth filed down (allegedly) still the thought of being licked to death by a lion terrifies me - and reminds me of an ex-girlfriend.

Well, If it does all go pear shaped and the influx of investors falls, the I heard the government has another ace up it's sleave that WILL ensure that the much vaunted 25m tourists by 2010 WILL...

Incidentally in all the papers today, the head of dubai's central bank said that he expected inflation to drop this year as a direct result of the housing market weakening and the rent cap.

It just goes to show how stoopid some buyers are, they actually believe the sales people, jjust a couple of weeks ago I saw a guy agree to 18k for a 1 bed in the marina, paid the cash etc. etc.

i was talking to a guy yesterday who's fairly high up in a major saudi investment group, he said that "the bubble" had already burst and that certain developers with 10-25 towers under construction...

You'd have thought that sadly thedeath toll will be greater than that, but who knows if it will ever "officially" rise. If I recall last year only 47 or so workers lost...
