1. I dont know much about schools. I will be putting my eldest daughter (9 years old) into a 'semi-private'. I think it will be around 20k-30k per year.

Hi Chris, Welcome to the Philippines.

I have experience working in Philippines and gaining the necessary visas etc:

You can arrive without a visa so no problem there - you'll get a 30 day stamp...
