I had a 1998 3.0L V6 and gave it to my grandson when I bought my current 2014 Accord Sport. Never changed the timing belt and nor did he until the thing gave out due to lack of care or maintenance....

The first used car I bought in the USA was the last. I buy new and keep until I've got at least 150,000 miles, and then pass it on to a family member.
Owning successive Honda Accords since 1986...

I'm on my third successive Honda Accord since 1986. I got a very good deal on my 2014 Accord through consumer reports. I'm not sure if they still offer that service.

My 1998 Honda Accord has gone 19 years on the same cat, never replaced anything but regular maintenance items. I owned it 16 years and passed it on to my grandson, who this year destroyed the engine...

My wife insists on auto transmission, so that's that argument settled.
I have quasi manual with paddle shifters. I thought they would be cool but I rarely use them. Handy for entering the freeway...

I had a Ford Fairlane, Drum brakes no power assist, you needed both feet to brake and the brake pedal was big enough for two feet.

When I took the test in Washington State, I had to back around a corner and also parallel park between two poles. I also got chastised for feeding the steering wheel maintaining the 10 to 2 position....

Nice I replaced my 1998 Accord EX-L 3.0V6 in 2014 with a Accord Sport. Got a good deal $23,000 incl tax and Lic. Automatic, my wife is not biggly for manual trans.

Get a quote from the dealer, that's a good point of reference. As I've mentioned before, I take my cars to the local Honda dealer for regular service, and repairs regardless of price. The difference...
