Just did comparison of EDP tariff and the UK ones, yes the pt one is much more expensive also the tax is 23% while utility in UK taxed at 5%. so definitely will look into cutting down the consumption...

I have a place in Setubal region. After much coming back and forth, I managed to get a deal from Meo for fast fibre internet at just under 30 Euro per month, which is a really good deal considering...
