My then fiancee and now wife is the sponsor, yes?

So the two year period will start when the green card is issued, hopefully in May, or is it back-dated to the date of my entry?

That's right Rene, no questions at all. I hadn't realised until RICH pointed out that having my fiancée travel with me was unusual but it probably helped my case greatly.
