If you are PT resident and not paying PT NI then I think you fall between two stools.
EHIC cover is not intended for those who leave the UK.
I would check with the UK Government web sites.

I fully support the current acton being taken, not all free loaders come from Eastern Europe.

We knbow many included some who run their own profitable business overseas who visit the UK once or twce a year for free dental treatment or when needed NHS. They have no other UK involvement are...
