No way. Not had any heating on for weeks and not even had the heated blanket on :rofl:
Had to sleep with a leg and arm outside the duvet again last night as it's just too damn warm to be fully...

Yup. Wife couldn't take it any longer and changed the heat pump from 18 degrees cooling to 23 degrees warming this morning. Was only 8 degrees when I walked down with the lad for the school...

We have relented this past week. We've flicked the heat pump on for half hour when we get up so the kids aren't cold but as usual by late morning the windows are open trying to cool the place down or...

Must have been a tad cooler overnight last night as I slept with a thin duvet layer over me most of the night and surprised walking out of the garage at 4.45am this morning to a temp of 10 degrees....

Yes, but even though it comes through a pipe it is LPG via an LPG reticulation scheme. There's also similar in Dunedin, Wanaka, Arrowtown and Queenstown, however as I said it is not Natural gas. That...

Not true. There is no mains gas in the South Island.

Reticulated (plumbed) natural gas is available on the North Island in the major centres. Owned and operated by First Gas.

Yip there's a few properties with proper UK style central heating in the North Island. We viewed a few in Wellington when considering buying and one in Tauranga. Pretty expensive to run though due to...

We were quoted approx $1000 per radiator (no matter the size to a point) installed plus the cost of the boiler or whatever system you wanted to feed them.......funnily the same price as UPVC double...

Heatpump went on today for the first time. The wife succumbed to the 7 degrees temp. this morning and evening. I'm still sat in shorts n t shirt :-)

All of our heating is still off in Tauranga. Just been too darn humid overnight. Still finding myself hanging a leg out of the covers to cool down.
Last couple of days it's been 18 degrees at 9.30am...

In Taupo over the weekend and the heat pump was set to 30 degrees constant from mid afternoon till we left. Was piggin freezin. Weather forecast had us down to 3 degrees overnight Brrrr!
