I'm going to be in a similar position when it comes time to replace my C7 Corvette. The new mid-engined C8 won't have a manual option either.

Well that sux. Was the car outside?

I know I get field mice/voles in our garage + the bastards dig up my yard. Putting in some poison traps seems to have worked well for both the garage and yard.

That's unusual. Most places will use that as a reason to deny warranty. They can even see when you do the flash back also on alot of cars now.

Not sure it's a good idea to drop him from the policy as a named driver. He could get his own policy but i doubt it will work out cheaper. The best bet is to use a good lawyer and ensure the charges...

I'm resigned to the fact that my next car will probably not have a clutch. I'm lucky that the driving I do rarely involves stop and go traffic so I'm perfectly happy sticking to the 7 speed corvette...

You should be able to pick up a C7 corvette(used) now for around 40k. It will give you best of both worlds.

Not in most states. Virginia is one where they are banned. You might be thinking of radar jammers which are illegal everywhere.

Sounds like a good result. Consider buying a radar detector and use Waze for police notifications. Between the 2 you can reduce the chance of repeating if you are going to continue speeding 15 over...

Show up in a Nissan 300zx and have the examiner (who is an ex Nissan mechanic) talk about the car for the whole test and pay no attention to the actual driving. Well that's how my test went anyways...
